Some of the challenges facing NFT's as they grow in popularity

Non-fungible tokens (NFT's) seem to be gaining more and more attention as more and more money is spent on these digital assets and multinational companies seem to be encouraging this adoption. Adobe recently launched an NFT option in its Photoshop platform to help users address the challenge of being able to certify ownership. There is a growing problem in the NFT markets fueled by the need to have assurance that the entity wishing to sell an NFT is the true owner. Incorporating an NFT is no different to that of a regulated entity, such as a bank or asset manager, which must perform Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. Recently, a renowned photographer who wanted to create and sell NFT from his personal collection claimed that it took him over three weeks to be able to start selling on one of the major NFT platforms.
