Blockchain comes to Hollywood

The global film and video industry, worth more than $244.000 billion, has not “gone with the wind”, but blockchain technology is blowing the winds of change in the scriptwriters' offices, producers and even actors. For example, MovieCoin was created as a test to see if it was possible to finance a movie by issuing tokens. In 2020, the Litecoin Foundation produced a Johnny Knoxville horror film, thus demonstrating the ability to finance films using blockchain technology.
