The CatVers, one of the protagonists of the twentieth anniversary of the AOC

The Open Administration of Catalonia commemorated its twentieth anniversary yesterday with an event at the Parliament of Catalonia, but also with a visit to CatVers, the Catalan metaverse. 

The Parliament of Catalonia hosted the event commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the AOC (Open Administration of Catalonia), a celebration that included the interventions of the President of the Parliament, Laura Borràs, the Vice-President and Advisor for Digital Policies, Jordi Puigneró, the president of Localret, Jaume Oliveras, the former director of the AOC Joan A. Olivares and the managing director of the AOC, Àstrid Desset.

At the event, which was attended by around 200 people linked to the AOC from its beginnings to the present, most of the organizations with which the AOC has collaborated throughout its twenty years were represented of life, from the Generalitat de Catalunya to the Provincial Councils, passing through the regional councils, town councils, companies and other Catalan public bodies.

At the event there was a dive a the virtual AOC space created within CatVers, the Catalan metavers developed by the Blockchain Center of Catalonia (CBCat), of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.
